Privacy note
Last updated 4 October 2026
This note explains what the MarketDataIQ Gateway demo (demo.marketdataiq.com) collects about you and why. It is run by [MarketDataIQ legal entity name and address] (“MarketDataIQ”, “we”), which is responsible for this data.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your name, business email, company, the password you choose (stored only as a one-way hash), whether we may contact you, and the internet address you signed up from.
- When you use your workspace: what the workspace records about its own use: sign-ins, requests, settings changes, and the people you add (their names and business emails). The market data in it is simulated.
- Usage counts, such as when you last used the workspace and how many requests it sent, so we know the demo is useful.
Why
- To run the demo: create your workspace, sign you in, keep it secure, and send you its emails (the confirmation link, the welcome, password links, a reminder before it ends, and a note when it's deleted).
- If you ticked the box, to contact you about the MarketDataIQ Gateway. You can say no at any time by replying to any email.
- We don't sell your data, or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Hostinger hosts the demo's server.
- Resend sends the demo's emails.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks the sign-up form isn't a bot; it may set a cookie and see your browser's details for that.
They act on our instructions. Some of them may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Your workspace and everything in it: deleted when it ends, 14 days after you open it (or later if we agree to extend it).
- Your sign-up details: up to one year after your workspace ends, then deleted. Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted after 30 days.
Cookies
Your workspace uses one cookie to keep you signed in, which is needed for it to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set its own cookie on the sign-up form.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (with your workspace) at any time, by writing to contact@marketdataiq.com. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
