Terms of use
Last updated 4 October 2026
These terms cover the MarketDataIQ Gateway demo at demo.marketdataiq.com (the “demo”), run by [MarketDataIQ legal entity name and address] (“MarketDataIQ”, “we”). By signing up you accept them.
What the demo is
- A private workspace, for you to evaluate the MarketDataIQ Gateway for your business. It is free, and lasts 14 days unless we agree to extend it.
- All market data in it is simulated. Prices, identifiers, reference data and costs are made up by simulators and sample rate cards. Nothing is sent to Bloomberg, LSEG or any other vendor, and nothing in the demo is investment information or may be relied on for any decision.
- When the workspace ends it is deleted with everything in it, and can't be recovered.
Your account
- Sign up with your own business email, and keep your password to yourself. You may add colleagues to your workspace; you're responsible for what happens in it.
- One workspace per person. We may refuse or end a sign-up at our discretion.
What not to do
- Don't enter real vendor credentials, client data, or personal data beyond your colleagues' business names and email addresses. The demo isn't built to hold them.
- Don't try to get around its limits or security, reach other people's workspaces, overload it, or use automated tools beyond normal use of its API.
- Don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the demo or the gateway, or use it to build a competing product.
Ours and yours
The gateway, the demo and their content belong to MarketDataIQ. Anything you type into your workspace stays yours, and is deleted with it. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
No warranty
The demo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty. We may change, suspend or end it, or any workspace, at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, MarketDataIQ isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the demo.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. They are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the state and federal courts located in the State of New York have exclusive jurisdiction.
